"Breathing New Life into Classic Instruments"
Bach Stradivarius Model 196 Piccolo Trumpet in Bb/A Professional Model.
Professional Model 196 4 valve Piccolo.
Bore: Standard (.401) Balanced resistance for better endurance.
Overall Condition: Excellent. No dents, or bends. A few superficial dings on the Bb pipe that are invisible on the inside of the pipe. Normal light scratches from handling/playing. A couple of minor scratches on the bell from a mute.
Tone: Beautiful! The Stradivarius Piccolo has a larger throated bell than a Schilke P5-4 and generally plays with a slightly fuller tone. This particular horn has a very pleasing tone and is in mechanically excellent shape. High range is free and it does not feel stuffy. This horn was probably stored in a closet for most of its past life.
