Leadpipe: Reverse 25. Freer and more open with improved intonation and a beautiful fine grained medium dark tone.

Bore: Medium Large Bore (.459) Very Comfortable. Ideal bore for most players.

Overall Condition: Extremely nice. One very minor ding on the bell. No other work was needed or done on this beautiful custom Strad. It was given a thorough cleaning. Silver plate is at 100%. This horn has had very light use and it is quite rare to find all these nice features on a Bach 37.

Tone: Beautiful. You'll immediately know this is a superb Bach 37 with its sweet and full tone and excellent response. This is not a standard Strad, but a special order from their Custom Shop. Custom Shop horns are always special and always more expensive because of their options and their quality. They are individually hand made by Bach's most skilled and experienced craftsman with more care and attention going into detail and assembly to produce a superb horn. The result is that they play extremely well. This one is no exception and is the best playing 37 LR model I've ever encountered.
