Overall Condition: New Old Stock! This is a beautiful Bach Chicago C that sat in a drum/bass/guitar shop for 2-3 years. Why they thought they would sell it to a Jazz/Rock musician is a mystery to me. I tested it out and it has a beautiful tone and is a very nimble player. Compared to a standard Bach Strad 229/25H it has a more focused tone, better response and is slightly more resistant and less wide open in feel. A closer feel to a large bore Bach 25C/239 but with a more rich and expansive tone. The Chicago C is becoming widely used by many symphonic trumpeters who enjoy the traditional Chicago Symphony brass sound.
