Model 37  Yellow Brass Bell.

Leadpipe: Standard 25. Balanced resistance for moderate blowing freedom and excellent endurance and a nicely refined tone. 

Bore: Medium Large Bore (.459) Very Comfortable. Ideal for most players.

Overall Condition: Excellent mechanical condition. This horn has not been played very much. The original lacquer has a medium honey color and is 95% intact. There is some missing on the third slide as it was originally very thinly lacquered. I just had the inside of the bell polished and relacquered to remove a few scratches. It is now a lovely shade of light honey.

Tone: Warm, Rich, focused traditional Bach sound that is very pleasing to the ears. The 37 standard weight bell offers a compact sound and is the most popular Bb bell Bach makes because its the sound most trumpeters love. New Bach  Stradivarius 180's are now $2400+.  

Finish: Lacquer (95% intact) 

Serial Number: 171497 (1979) This is a Pre-Strike professionally crafted horn.

Valves: Smooth and free.

Compression: Excellent

Slides: All are free and move smoothly as they should
